What is Laser Planet?

Laser Planet is a new concept in laser tag gaming, adding a hi-end feel and experience to a very popular game. Ideal for customers of all ages, from children's parties to team-building & corporate events.

What facilities are there?

7 screen briefing room, caged vesting area, large arena accommodating between 38 - 52 depending on centre, larger groups can be accommodated on request. Café serving hot & cold drinks / snacks, dedicated party booths, café seating, lockers for your valuables which are free of charge, baby changing facilities and high chairs.

Can I watch a game but not take part?

Unfortunately for safety reasons spectators are not permitted in the arena. However we do show the action from the arena on one of the screens in the café area. (Watford only)

Does it hurt?

No, Laser Tag does not hurt. When receiving a hit your pack may vibrate a little but this does not hurt.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

The café seating areas are for the use of those who have purchased food/drinks from our café and those waiting for games to start. Therefore we request that you do not bring food and drink for consumption onto our premises. Customers that have booked party packages including a private party booth are able to supply their own food and drink.

We have a reasonably priced café should you require refreshments or a bite to eat.

What do I need to bring with me?

You do not need to bring anything with you, all the equipment you need is provided. We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes or trainers. You will become quite warm whilst playing so we suggest that you remove jackets and jumpers.

What does a game involve?

A game lasts 20 minutes, with the entire experience lasting about 30 minutes.

Before you play you will receive a video briefing which will inform you of the rules and how to play. Once your briefing has finished you will enter the vesting area to get kitted up, from here you will enter the arena and the game will begin.

At the end of the game you will be given a score sheet so you will need to take note of your team colour and number which is displayed on the side and back of your phaser.

What time do I need to arrive?

If you are attending a birthday party please arrive 15 minutes before your party start time. For all other bookings please arrive at least 10 minutes before your start time.

Games will start at the dedicated time. If you arrive late you may have to wait to be briefed before you can join in the game. Where possible you will play in the next available game, however we cannot guarantee this will always be possible.
Refunds cannot be given for missed games.

How old do I need to be to play?

We recommend from 7 years up, however we can allow 6 year olds to play.

Although we can allow 6 year olds to play we do not offer birthday parties for this age group. The youngest age for the birthday party host is 7 years old.

Do we get exclusive use of the Arena?

Games will be played alongside members of the general public, and with other parties taking place at the same time. If you wish to have exclusive use of the Arena you will need to either book all 38 - 52 available places or exclusive hire. We do try to keep similar ages together as much as we can but cannot guarantee you will only be playing with people of a similar age to your group.

When do we need to arrive?

Please arrive 15 minutes before your party is due to start. This will give you time to get settled into your party booth and familiarise yourself with the facilities before the game begins. Please ask participants to arrive 15 minutes early. The briefing will start at your party start time, any latecomers will be able to join the game but they may have to wait to be briefed. We cannot give refunds for missed games.

Is there a minimum number required?

The minimum number required for booking a party is 10 guests; if you wish to come to Laser Planet with less than 10 guests of course you are able to, however this would not be classed as a Laser Planet party, and would not include all the usual party benefits detailed below:

Private party booth
Party host
Party food including bringing you own food and/or cake
Two free games for adults

You may add adults to your booking at the usual game price if required.

Do you provide party bags?

Laser Planet do not provide party bags within the price of the party, however, you can purchase freeze dried astronaut ice cream to give out instead of a party bag. Freeze dried astronaut ice cream is £2.50 per person when you purchase with a party package.

Can I just turn up and play?

Yes you can, although we always recommend that you call ahead to check availability especially at the weekends and during school holidays.

Is there an age restriction?

We have an age guide of 7 and above, however we do allow children of 6 to enter the arena. We try to keep similar ages together as much as we can but cannot guarantee you will only be playing with people of a similar age to your group.

Can I enter the arena with my children?

We allow parents to enter and play with their children, however we do not allow spectators in any of the gaming areas. Parents pay the normal admission rates if they wish to play.
